Technology Badge Workshop
Back by popular demand! The Portage County Business Council Foundation’s Partners in Education program has gathered female volunteers in technology careers to share their expertise and put on a technology badge workshop for Girl Scouts! The workshop will be for girls, Brownies through Seniors, at Mid-State Technical College in Stevens Point on Saturday, December 12. The workshop is $5 per girl- this includes snacks and the badge you earn!
Schedule for the Day:
- 8:30 Registration
- 9:00 – 12:00 Instruction
- 12:00 – 12:30 Badge Ceremony
The girls will earn these badges:
Brownies: Computer Expert
Juniors: Entertainment Technology
Cadettes: Digital Movie Maker and Netiquette
Seniors: Game Visionary and Website Designer
To Register Girl Scouts:
Send Troop number, names of each participating girl and grade levels to Amy Schultz at aschultz@gsnwgl.org by December 4.
