BUSINESS X-CHANGE – Wednesday, February 12, 2020
Business X-Change meets regularly throughout the year at the Portage County Business Council office. A roundtable series of meetings that allows business owners and their employees the opportunity to discuss pertinent topics, learn from local industry leaders and, most importantly, learn from each other.
There is no cost to attend and a continental breakfast is included.

About the Program: This presentation will identify the challenges employers face in recruiting and retaining talent and discuss how continuing education can alleviate workforce concerns. Since the turn of the century, education has evolved into one that requires experiential learning and a workplace connection in addition to the traditional classroom model. Learners are no longer of a traditional age, but rather anyone looking to enhance their career and apply their skills.

About our Speakers:
Scott Norder is the Director of Corporate Relations and adjunct instructor for Lakeland University and has been at the University for 12 years. He also served as the Green Bay Center Director, Fox Cities Center Director, and Regional Director of the Adult Education.
Amy Pearce is the Center Director for the Fox Cities and Central Wisconsin centers, starting at the University in 2011. Before starting with Lakeland, she worked for several retail companies at multiple levels of management.
What is Business X-Change? A roundtable presentation which allows business owners and their employees the opportunity to discuss pertinent topics, learn from local industry leaders and, most importantly, learn from each other. Business X-Change meets regularly throughout the year from 7:30 - 8:30am at the Portage County Business Council office.
