Description
In this session, Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development (DWD) Secretary Caleb Frostman will discuss relief, reopening, recovery in the wake of COVID-19. Secretary Frostman will discuss how services through DWD's Job Center of Wisconsin may be valuable to businesses as they adapt to the current economic climate and address related topics such as workplace safety, talent recruitment, and workforce trends.

About Secretary Frostman: Governor Tony Evers appointed Caleb Frostman as Secretary of the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development on January 7, 2019. Prior to his appointment, he served as Senator of Wisconsin's 1st District, representing Door and Kewaunee counties as well as parts of four others. He previously served as Executive Director of the Door County Economic Development Corporation and worked in commercial real estate finance for nearly a decade.
Secretary Frostman grew up in Green Bay and graduated from the UW-Madison Business School. He has served on the Bay Area Workforce Development Board, the boards of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, Door County Visitor Bureau, Sturgeon Bay Visitor Center, and Sunshine House, and the Advisory Council of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Door County.
Secretary Frostman is an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing, beekeeping, and gardening.
