SMALL BUSINESS X-CHANGE – November 5, 2014
Small Business X-Change meets regularly throughout the year at the Portage County Business Council office. A roundtable series of meetings that allows business owners and their employees the opportunity to discuss pertinent topics, learn from local industry leaders and, most importantly, learn from each other.
There is no cost to attend and a continental breakfast is included.
7:30-8:30 am in the Portage County Business Council Foundation Room

Marten Machining has worked with the Youth Apprenticeship program for over 16 years. At this X-Change, we will be discussing how Marten Machining has worked on developing this program in their business, sharing some of what they have learned working with young people, and how they are planning to continue to work with local schools to promote and develop manufacturing careers in Central Wisconsin.
About Our Speaker: David Marten is Vice President of Marten Machining, a family owned CNC manufacturing business located in Stevens Point. David has worked at Marten Machining full time for 9 years and works with the manufacturing, quality, and human resources areas of the business.
