About the Speaker:
Kevin Honeycutt specializes in 21st century learning tools and engagement strategies. His dedication to students, coupled with his energetic delivery, creativity and sense of humor, make this a session not to be missed! Since 2003 he has worked as a Technology Integration Specialist at ESSDACK, an educational service center based in Hutchinson, Kansas, and is currently serving in his second term as a school board member in the town of Inman Kansas.
Kevin travels the country and the world speaking at conferences and working with educators at the grassroots level and likes to promote a “tradigital” approach to education while sharing his thinking and learning on his blog, Tradigital Learning, and in his podcast, Driving Questions in Education. His message is that technology can be used to empower and provide opportunities for students to thrive and grow. Parents, educators and leaders have been inspired by his powerful stories of helping students using technology in an underfunded rural school district.
