Taste of Rosholt

The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County - Rosholt Extension is hosting its second annual Taste of Rosholt event at McZ’s Brew Pub on Sunday, December 2, from 4 - 7pm. Tickets for this event are $50 per person and include two free drinks. You can visit www.bgclubpc.org/taste-of-rosholt to buy your tickets or they are also available at McZ’s Brew Pub and Community First Bank in Rosholt and Stevens Point. Tickets are limited and are running out quickly.
 
All proceeds from this event will benefit the Boys & Girls Club - Rosholt Extension kids like Kami. While at the Boys & Girls Club Kami enjoys making art projects, getting help with her homework, completing her reading minutes, and hanging out with her friends and staff after school. Her mom, Nicki Hintz, appreciates the Boys & Girls Club in Rosholt because, “It gives my child a place to learn, grow, and have fun while I am still at work.”
 
While the Club continues to serve more kids each day, the Boys & Girls Club has stuck to its mission of serving all kids, especially those who need them most, for a minimal, annual fee. Thus, funds raised through the annual Taste of Rosholt event will help children finish their homework, get a free, healthy snack, meet new friends, and receive encouragement from adult mentors. The Boys & Girls Club of Portage County - Rosholt Extension is a place for Club kids to grow and dream.
 
When guests arrive at the Taste of Rosholt, to support local youth, they will be able to enjoy tastes from around the Rosholt community. Local favorites will be providing delicious hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and great wine and beer. The event also includes a bountiful basket raffle, a 50/50 raffle, and a tree with wishes from the Rosholt Club.
 
This year’s Taste of Rosholt event is presented by Bushmans’ Inc. and the media sponsors are Community First Bank and the Rosholt Record.  Don’t forget to buy your event tickets TODAY before they are sold out, and enjoy a night of fun and socializing to support local Rosholt youth.
