Her experience includes regulatory compliance (FMLA\, EEO\, FLSA\, HR\, and Safety) benefits\, wage and salary administration\, employee relations\, training\, and payroll. The majority of her industry experience is in insurance and manufacturing and she is knowledgeable in both union and non-union environments.\n\n\n\nKaren also provides training services to UW-Madison Small Busines Development Center (SBDC) in HR areas and instructs a class for the UW-Madison Division of Continuing Studies. Further\, she developed and teaches courses targeted at providing small businesses (less than 100 employees) with general HR guidance and employment law review to help them maintain compliance and improve their processes.\n\n\n\nKaren enjoys working outside\, spending time with family\, reading and traveling.
