Our client, a busy and established Stevens Point accounting firm, has an opening for a full-time office assistant/bookkeeping & payroll associate. Great opportunity to use your accounting background in a small office environment! This is a temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate.
This position will consist partly of office duties such as front desk, answering the phone, greeting clients, scheduling appointments, ordering supplies, composing correspondence, and other clerical duties as needed. The other part of this position will entail performing bookkeeping and payroll duties for clients, including things such as preparing paychecks, doing payroll reports and 4th quarter W2s.
Must have previous bookkeeping, payroll, and QuickBooks experience! A working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook is also required.
This is a full-time, temp to hire opportunity for the right candidate! Core hours will be 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday; however there may be overtime required during the tax season, which may include Saturdays. Pay is $13-$15/hr +; negotiable dependent upon experience.
