Job Description
This position completes the County’s payments and controls expenses by processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices bi-weekly, monthly substitute care payments, and various reconciliations.  This position also provides support for bi-weekly payroll processing and general accounting services provided by the department.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Two years’ experience in accounting (accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, etc.) required, preferably in a government setting
  • Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities
  • Ability to successfully pass a criminal and financial background check
  • Valid driver’s license and access to an insured vehicle for business related travel
Starting Salary:  $17.39/hour
