Job Description

This position is responsible for overall office operation, including inventory, purchasing, deposits, and assisting with budget, bookkeeping and records management.


This position performs a variety of routine clerical, secretarial work in assisting the administration of various components of the Department. Duties include: greet and assist the public, telephone reception, general correspondence on a computer, mailings, filing, photocopying and faxing.


Clerical support is provided to the Area Extension Director, the 4-H Educator and the Communities Educator with backup support to the Youth & Families Educator and the Agriculture Educator.

Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
A minimum of two years of professional office experience required.
A minimum of one year of computer experience required. Proficiency with technology required.
Experience and with financial accounting, especially in a government setting preferred.
Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to insured vehicle for work-related travel.
