One of our South Central Wisconsin Clients is looking for a Marketing Field Representative/Department Manager.
This temp to hire (DIRECT HIRE) position is providing direction and leadership to the Marketing Department. Will monitor and maintain a successful territory. The main objectives for this individual are to promote the company in a positive manner, further educate agents, assist agents in field underwriting, and discuss agency goals and objectives. This person will fulfill all duties assigned to assure the Marketing department operates in an undisturbed manner.

Duties & Responsibilities:
* Develop a strong partnership with each agency and provide a fluent means of strengthening the partnership with the company and its staff
*Gain a complete understanding of the company's software system and functionality -Provide basic and advanced training on software system(s) -Review agency performance and utilize functionality to review and discuss goals and objectives
*Keep informed on competitive and general marketing conditions
*Fluently interpret the company's goals and overall philosophy to agents
*Responsible for new agency appointments -Management will have final approval on all appointments -Strategically appoint agents: spread of risk (geographically) and product knowledge/experience (farm producers)
*Responsible for recognizing and recommending the corrective counseling or termination of unproductive agencies
*Review agency performance, volume of business, loss ratios/profitability, growth and overall relationship/partnership
*Field underwriting: Maintain contact with home office and provide field inspections on requested risks - Offer a professional and educational experience for both agent and prospect/insured
*Submit electronic field reports, expense reports, and other activity on a monthly basis
*Approve or reject time off for the marketing department according to the company calendar
Sales management experience is required!
Prior underwriting, claims or marketing experience is preferred
Highly Motivated - Strong Work Ethic- Excellent Communication Skills
Advanced knowledge of computers
Proficiencies in Word and Excel
Ability to make decisions based on company guidelines and goals
Lead by example style of management
Additional Company Requirements:
Visit home office, minimum 1 day every two weeks
Report directly to VP of Agency Services and/or President/CEO
Keep confidentiality at the highest priority
Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed in vital situations
Able to travel 3-4 days per week over the entire state (Wisconsin)
Attend industry/agent events
Lifestyle must be of such, allowing individual the flexibility to be away from home for 3-4 consecutive days/nights consistently
Personal vehicle required for use in position and must have a favorable driving record.
