*DIRECT HIRE* Our client in South Central Wisconsin is looking for an experienced WORKERS COMPENSATION UNDERWRITER AND ADMINISTRATOR!

Job Purpose

Individual will be responsible for the development of a Workers Compensation program and book of business. Will establish and carry out departmental and organizational goals, policies and procedures. This position requires a sound knowledge of the insurance industry's concepts and policies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Their duties include, but are not limited to the following:

Build and launch a Workers Compensation product

Continually consult and work with management

Accept, decline, or amend new business applications, policy changes, renewals and cancellations submitted by producers based on underwriting guidelines Review inspections and take appropriate actions or make recommendations for risk improvement

Examine experience of existing accounts and take appropriate action

Make multiple visits to assigned agents to build strong relationships and assist them in writing profitable business

Individual will need to learn and fluently understand and interpret company forms

Specific qualifications include:

5 years of Worker Compensation experience required

Highly motivated

Strong work ethic

Excellent communication skills

Organizational skills

Advanced knowledge of computers

Proficiencies in MS Word and Excel

Ability to make decisions based on Company guidelines and goals

Working Conditions:

Ability to work evenings and weekends as needed in vital situations

Travel and have the ability to attend educational functions away from the office
