Build your leadership skills while assisting in the management of a fast-paced, locally-owned retail store that provides high quality foods, beverages and everyday supplies. As an Assistant Manager, you will assist the Store Manager with all daily retail operations, including banking, staff management, merchandising, reporting and inventory management. This position is well-suited for someone with prior customer service and retail service who would like to advance to a retailer leadership position.

  • Assist with daily retail operation including tracking, maintaining and controlling inventory, setting and achieving weekly/monthly retail goals, and merchandising
  • Maintain all reports and banking
  • Lead and train customer and food service team members
  • Provide exceptional guest service
  • Maintain cleanliness within and outside of the The Store
  • Recommend products and specials to guests
  • Positive attitude and interest in educational and advancement opportunities
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, planning, budgeting and customer relation skills
  • Must be 18  years of age and able to obtain a Wisconsin beverage license
  • Experience with Microsoft Word or Excel
  • Prior retail store/customer experience is a plus
  • Prior leadership experience is a plus
