What is the Job:

  • 1st Shift position: Monday – Friday 5:30 am – 2:00 pm.
  • Setting up machinery for different labels sizes to maximize stock usage and minimize waste; perform color calibration to ensure artwork colors meet our customers’ expectations.
  • Setup label files in preparation of printing; be proficient in splicing substrate, printing, die cutting, slitting, and rewinding finished labels on the press.
  • Install parts and supplies such as die plates and toner on machine; perform basic maintenance, troubleshoot machine functionality and work with tech support to minimize downtime.
  • Understand basic filtering and reporting; have skills in Word, Adobe Illustrator, and Excel and must be able to create reports to management as needed.
  • Must have the ability to manage multiple jobs at the same time.

What You Will Contribute:

  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or general education degree (GED). Forklift experience preferred.
  • Ability to effectively present information to other employees. Must effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
  • The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form, ability to add, subtract, multiply and apply basic mathematical concepts.
