Maintenance Cleaning Technician – 2nd Shift

We are currently seeking a Maintenance Cleaning Technician to work in our Stevens Point manufacturing facility. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining and cleaning the manufacturing building areas, assist in preventive maintenance for facility equipment in collaboration with our Skilled Maintenance Technician(s), and support a safety culture with an attitude to serve.  The 2nd shift hours for this full-time position are Mon – Thursday from 2pm-10pm and Friday from 11:00am-7pm. Prior facility cleaning experience preferred.

Duties:
  • Clean the facilities according to the audit cleaning log daily.
  • Operate and maintain supplies for all equipment required for cleaning facilities.
  • Clean all facilities in compliance with applicable SOPs and safety procedures.
  • Know all applicable SOPs and be certified on the equipment as trained.
  • Perform all duties in compliance with established SOPs and GMPs.
  • Cleaning and maintenance of facility equipment and machinery with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Operate equipment necessary to perform the essential job duties in a safe efficient manner following SOP/GMP guidelines.
  • Complete preventive cleaning and maintenance activities as dictated by equipment and SOP requirements.
  • Assist in meeting/exceeding customer expectations and operational goals.

Requirements:
  • EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:  Minimum 18 years of age with a completed high school diploma or general education degree (GED).  Able to use Microsoft products and maintenance software desired.
  • LANGUAGE SKILLS:  Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, emails, SOP’s, labeling instructions and other materials required.  Ability to write legible short correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information to other employees of the organization.  Must effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format. 
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:  Ability to add, subtract, and multiply applying mathematical concepts when needed.
  • REASONING ABILITY:  Ability to apply common sense understanding and carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
