Muse is a new restaurant located within Sentry Insurance and is slated to open in late summer 2017.
Muse is a blend of artful experiences that range from our culinary presentation and service, to the colorful wine collection and craft-made cocktails, all married with a cultural, art–filled environment. Together, it sets the tone for a unique dining experience for Stevens Point and central Wisconsin.
At Muse, you’ll find the best handmade pastas, fresh seafood, dry-aged steaks, and seasonal dishes made with the finest locally grown ingredients. Savor it all while enjoying the seasonal views from our large picture windows. Enjoy lunch and dinner Monday through Friday, or take advantage of our new event space any day of the week. It’s a perfect spot for meetings, celebrations, and spectacular weddings.
A professional and friendly appearance and demeanor is essential. We are looking for someone that is focused, passionate, empathetic, and takes hospitality seriously. We work as a team and have very high standards of service, meaning we work hard and with precision. Previous server experience is preferred. What You'll Do
In this front line role, you will be responsible for providing guests with concierge service.
- Strong food knowledge base as well as a very detailed understanding and memorization of the current menu items which include all alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks as well as food and specials
- Receive and serve food orders
- Collect money for beverages and food sold
- Prepare the dining room while maintaining cleanliness of the service area
What it Takes
- Prior fine dining experience preferred
- Keen desire to create memorable experiences for all of our guests
