CNA - Part time, Full time & On Call Opportunities!

Do you enjoy working with elderly and those in need of physical rehabilitation?  Portage County Health Care Center has openings for part time, full time and on-call CNA's.  These positions assist in the care of our family; the people who have chosen to live in our home. We have part time, full time and on-call positions available with many schedule options available. 

Minimum pay starting at $15.08 - $16.16 / hour, PLUS $2 per hour shift premium for PM's! 

PM shift starting at $16.16 / hour! (PM shift hours range between 2:30 pm - 10:45 pm) 

Brief description of the duties of this position:

The CNA, under the direction and supervision of the professional nurse, performs direct resident care, including the provision of personal care, assistance with activities of daily living, and the documentation and the reporting of those activities. The CNA upholds the philosophy of Portage County Health Care Center to provide rehabilitative service necessary for each resident to achieve a maximum level of functioning, the preservation of self worth and dignity.

• CNA / Nurses Aide Certification required and recorded as current on the Wisconsin Nurse Aide registry.
• Must meet state criminal background check requirements.
• Must attend a minimum of 12 hours attendance of continuing education per year.
• Prior CNA work experience highly desired.
