Our Stevens Point locations are currently seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator. This experienced individual will be responsible for:
- planning an organized program of activities that will help to improve resident independence, foster positive behavior, engage families and volunteers and support socialization and participation
- maintain a monthly activity calendar posted by the 1st of each month
- develop creative means to improve morale and contribute to the general health and well- being of the residents
- research and develop community relationships for resident outings or volunteer activities
To be considered for this position, candidate must have a minimum of one-year experience in a social or recreational program (i.e. daycare setting, teacher, activities coordinator). Ideal candidate will have a cheerful disposition, a sincere love and compassion for working with the elderly, the ability to maintain organization and execute thorough planning, be creative and innovative and have knowledge of how to read an ISP and how to focus on resident emotional and physical needs in the way of group activities.
