We are seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our Team at our main office in Stevens Point, WI. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package and opportunity for growth in a safety focused, casual work environment. Hours are flexible between 7am-5pm, Monday-Friday with occasional overtime necessary (some weekend or holiday work may be required).

Additionally, the neighborhood has a walkability rating of 72 and a bike score of 84. Biking to work is easy as our office is just two blocks from designated bike routes!
 
Members of our Team are responsible for:

  • Bi-weekly payroll processing via ADP software
  • Maintaining Associate records
  • Garnishment calculations, tax reporting and payroll reporting
  • Serving as a point of contact for exempt and non-exempt Associates to ensure administration, coordination, and education of benefits and policy
  • Assisting with the integration of new hires into the payroll system and monitoring onboarding and hiring processes
  • Posting of new job opportunities through all divisions within Team Schierl Companies
  • Scheduling background checks, drug screens, and beverage server courses
  • Additional responsibilities may include group facilitation for Culture & Benefits orientation for new Associates, supporting and maintaining Team Schierl Companies HealthiChoices initiatives, safety programs, 401k enrollment
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Associate degree or higher in business with an emphasis in accounting, and/or payroll accounting and processing experience - preferably high volume, utilizing specialized ADP payroll software and experience working with an HRIS platform.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, such as Excel and Word, is very desirable.
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and organizational skills, an aptitude for numbers, as well as the ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Candidate must possess a high degree of integrity, maintaining confidentiality and exercising extreme discretion.
