Help Desk Technician - Managed Services

Wildcard Corp. is looking to add a Help Desk Technician to our team! This position is customer support focused with daily interaction. The ideal candidate would like working with people, excellent communication skills are a must! You need to understand their problems and help them work to a resolution. Depending on your skill set you might be a great fit for our Help Desk Technician position.

Our Help Desk Technicians are exposed to technology at its very core. We use technology to provide creative solutions to fit our customers needs, we use what is in their best interest not ours. Providing support to our customers and staff on a daily basis as part of a true 24 hour a day support group allows us to make sure each of our Help Desk Technicians can be prepared for the challenges they will encounter!

Help Desk Technician - Managed Services

  • Uses problem solving process to resolve customer issues
  • Manages support tickets for clients
  • Data Entry into support systems
  • Gather site requirements
  • Gather technical requirements
  • Provide customer updates via ticket system, email, and phone calls
  • Provide updates to user accounts and workstations 
  • Document solutions and procedures
  • Monitor and respond to alerts
  • Conduct warranty returns on Company equipment
  • Must be able to lift 25 pounds
  • Must be able to climb a ladder carrying equipment (1-15lbs)
  • Must be able to sit or stand for over an hour without issues
  • Keep support team up to date on issues
  • Documentation of procedures for users
  • Update Knowledge base articles in Dashboard system
  • Works under immediate supervision
  • Participate in 24 hour/7 day a week rotating customer support schedule
  • Must be a US citizen
  • Must have either an Associate's Degree in Computer Information Services, Network Services, or 2 years of relevant experience in an I.T. position
  • Must have experience working with information technology
  • ITIL Foundations certification preferred 
  • Excellent phone skills required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Must be able to type 50-60 words per minute
  • Must be able to work at our Stevens Point offices
  • Must be able to pass a background check
