What You’ll Do
As an Inside Sales Agency Sales Manager you will be responsible for agency selection through identification of qualified agency partnerships. You will also be responsible for implementing plans and programs to contribute to the achievement of agency produced sales, premium and loss ratio objectives.  In addition you’ll:
  • Oversee agency sales for a select agency group within a defined territory
  • Collaborate with team to support agency selection, suspension and termination decisions
  • Provide comprehensive sales expertise to agents to increase production
  • Develop new and enhance existing agent premium sources to achieve sales and premium objectives
  • Implement plans and programs to contribute to the achievement of agency produced sales and premium objectives
  • Establish rapport with agents to drive acceptable and profitable business to new and existing clients 
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned 
What it Takes
  • Bachelors Degree preferred 
  • 0-2 years of related work experience with previous insurance experience strongly preferred
  • Underwriting, sales or marketing experience and knowledge of professional sales techniques preferred 
  • Effective human relations and communication skills to communicate with prospective agents and current agents 
  • Ability to research with effective analytical skills  
  • Ability to meet travel requirements of this job – up to 25% travel 
  • Experience in a PC environment with basic knowledge of Microsoft products.
  • Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record and valid driver’s license
