Mail Services Clerk

With the size of our organization we have our own mail room, and as the Mail Services Clerk you’ll perform routine activities such as sorting incoming mail, preparing outing mail, and delivering interoffice mail while carrying out miscellaneous clerical duties.
Must have availability Monday - Friday between 7:00 am to 4:00 pm, with flexibility to change hours.
What You’ll Do
The Mail Services Clerk works within our mailroom operating mailroom equipment including a Lektriever, opener, photocopier, and other various machines. In addition, you’ll:

  • Fold and insert mail while pulling and weighing mail for distribution
  • Research the whereabouts of misdirected mail
  • Maintain current address files and inventory levels for all offices, sales representatives, and agents
  • Maintain an orderly mailroom and mail station
What it Takes
  • High School graduate or equivalent work experience
  • 0-2 years of related work experience
  • Ability to understand postal scales and rates
  • Ability to file with accuracy and speed
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Ability to stand and walk vigorously for long periods of time
  • Ability to push and pull various weight-bearing carts
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs somewhat frequently
