Quality System Coordinator

Ortho Molecular Products has an opportunity for a Quality System Coordinator whose primary function is to support the Quality Management System (QMS) documentation and auditing requirements. Work is to be performed and reviewed in accordance with FDA regulations and established Quality Assurance (QA) procedure standards to ensure compliance.

What will you do:

  • Review, understand, and be able to apply regulations related to dietary supplement good manufacturing practices (GMP’s)
  • Assist with managing company quality programs related to manufacturing, warehousing, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in creating and revising controlled documents (ex: SOPs, forms) that follow internal standards as well as external regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in review of product defect complaints and adverse event reports, performing investigations when warranted
  • Assist in managing internal and third-party audits from initial planning and scheduling to the performance of the audit and follow through with any corrective actions.
  • Assist in research, design, and implement facility quality systems to meet best-practice criteria
  • Investigate, perform root cause analysis, and trigger corrective or preventative actions to fix the problem.
  • Assist with managing company quality programs
  • Generate reporting related to the various quality programs (ex: deviations, product complaints, stability, internal audits)
  • Assist in research, design, and implement facility quality systems to meet best-practice criteria

What we are looking for:

  • BS/BA degree in a related science/business field or 2-4 years’ experience in related science/business field required.
  • Basic knowledge of quality systems and/or quality auditing.
  • Basic knowledge of Good Manufacturing Regulations.
  • ASQ certification desirable.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite (includes Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint); experience in SharePoint and ERP systems desired.
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, memos, emails, SOP’s, and other materials required. Ability to write legible correspondence.  Ability to effectively present information verbally to other employees of the organization. Must effectively demonstrate the ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in written format.
