Kitchen Supervisor

This position is responsible for carrying out overall kitchen operations. Duties include cooking, proportioning, delivering snacks and meals to our YMCA Child Care and School Age Program, coordinating with other cook staff, general cleaning, dishes and record keeping. Provide a clean and healthy working environment within the licensing regulations of the State of Wisconsin.

PRIMARY QUALIFICATIONS:
This position requires the ability to work independently, strong organization skills, knowledge of proper food handling, cleaning and sanitation. Substitution of comparable training or abilities will be taken into consideration.

Competencies: Must be 18 years of age. Position requires high energy level and ability to work in an active environment.  Must be able to lift, carry, load, and push food boxes and trays (up to 50 pounds). Must exhibit the Y core values of respect, responsibility, honesty and caring.

Certifications: CPR w/AED and First Aid is a position prerequisite, but will allow 90 days post-hire to obtain. Valid driver’s license and comfortable driving company vehicle is required.
 
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. (hours may vary)
