The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Portage County is hiring a full time Retired and Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) Manager!

Summary of Position:

The Retired Senior Volunteer Program Director has primary responsibility for planning, developing, organizing, and administering a comprehensive program of volunteer service opportunities for people ages 55 and over in Portage County. Responsibilities include: recruiting, training, placing, supervising, and recognizing volunteers; identifying and developing volunteer opportunities; program development and evaluation; budgeting and fiscal monitoring; writing federal and state grant proposals, providing comprehensive volunteer management assistance to community public and non-profit agencies.

What are the minimum qualifications?

  • Bachelor's degree in human service, sociology, psychology or related field.  
  • Experience in volunteer management, community organizing, and working with older adults are all required.
  • Experience in grant writing preferred.
  • Experience working with budgets preferred.
