JOB DESCRIPTION:
PSOL is a successful information technology consulting firm located in Stevens Point, WI.  We are looking for an energetic results driven Technology Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a Technology Business Development Specialist you are part of an integrated sales team providing exceptional service to PSOL customers. You will be responsible for increasing PSOL revenue by generating new customer business. Your focus will be to promote and sell our IT and Security projects and services.  Statewide travel is required.

Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Outbound calling to potential and established clients on a daily basis
  • Ability to establish and expand relationships with key executives and decision makers within each client and territory
  • Demonstrate ability to close sales and overcome clients objections
  • Ability to position PSOL’s solutions as a strategic advantage to our customers long term needs
  • Develop and maintain exceptional consultative relationships with existing clients
  • Prospect, call and develop new business relationships/customer accounts via a geographic region.
  • Manage monthly appointment activity and sales calls
  • Provide consultation to customers regarding the purchase of both software and hardware products
  • Educate customers on the value and necessity of licensing solutions
  • Work with internal sales and operational groups to ensure customer projects are handled efficiently
  • Keep updated on product and industry knowledge
  • Attend product training as required
  • Maintain a stellar relationship with peers and the outside sales team from your region
  • Project management

Requirements
  • 2+ Years of successful commercial technologies (IT or Security) sales experience AND/OR 2+ years of commercial technology (IT or Security) technician experience A MUST
  • Up to date with current trends in the IT and Security fields
  • Knowledgeable on current hardware & software used in the commercial technologies (IT & Security) fields
  • Must be hungry for success and very pro-active
  • Must be strategic, detailed oriented and results driven
  • A strong competitive attitude with demonstrated self-motivation and exceptional work ethic. Have self-discipline to work without a lot of direct supervision
  • Eagerness to learn

  • Must present a professional and personable presence and be a team player

  • Background check and valid driver’s license is required.
