Heartland Hospice Announces Shannon Breske Appointed as Assistant Administrator

STEVENS POINT, WI, June 18, 2020 – Heartland Hospice is pleased to announce the appointment of Shannon Breske to the position of Assistant Administrator for the Central Wisconsin office. 

A member of American Nurses Association, American College of Healthcare Executives, and the Wisconsin National Guard Association, Breske brings extensive active military duty and healthcare experience. “I have been in healthcare since I could basically start working,” she said. “I started in healthcare a housekeeper at a nursing home when I was 15.”

Having worked in both health care leadership and as an RN, Breske is excited to serve in the area of hospice care. “I want the team, patients, and community to know that I am eager to serve and assist in the excellent patient care and family support Heartland provides,” she said.

Breske earned her Master of Business, Healthcare Administration degree from Columbia Southern University, her Bachelor of Nursing from University of Alaska-Anchorage, and Bachelor of Business, Healthcare Administration from Wayland Baptist University. In addition, she has an Associate degree in Healthcare Administration from the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF).
