Shulfer Elected to First State Bank Board of Directors

New London, Wisconsin – First State Bank President, Bob Van Asten, announced today the election of Chris Shulfer to the board of directors of First State Bank.
 
Shulfer is the president of Shulfer’s Sprinklers & Landscaping in Plover and has been with the company since 1990. He is in charge of commercial sales, including landscaping design and installation, irrigation, landscape maintenance, and snow removal. He also holds a license in the State of Wisconsin for Cross Connection Control Tester.
 
Shulfer has lived in Plover for more than 40 years and is active in the community. He formerly coached baseball and softball for the Plover Whiting Youth Athletics for 18 years and multiple boys and girls sports for Pacelli Catholic Schools from 2001 to 2015. Shulfer has served on the Village of Plover Board of Zoning and Appeals for two years and is a member of St. Bronislava Parish in Plover. He and his wife, Liane, have three children.
