Applications are now being accepted for Leadership Portage County (LPC)\, a dynamic educational series for those ready to commit to greater leadership roles in their organizations and the community.  The ten-month LPC program combines interactive monthly sessions\, leadership skill development\, experiential learning opportunities\, community awareness activities\, and networking to help participants become more effective leaders.\n\n\n\nTo gain the most from the Leadership Portage County program\, participants are requested to attend all sessions\, complete all assignments and be involved as a team member in a Community Committee Experience.  A two-day opening retreat in August is followed by one-full weekday session each month beginning in September and ending in May. LPC sessions are typically held on the first Thursday of each month unless there is a conflict with a public\, religious or school holiday. The program concludes with a dinner and graduation program in May. \n\n \n\n\nThere is a maximum of 28 participants.
