DESCRIPTION:"Business on the Green" \n\nStevens Point Country Club\n\n \n\n(If you wish to golf at SentryWorld\, return to the events calendar and choose: 2017 Business on the Green - SentryWorld golfers)\n\n \n\n\n\nThe Portage County Business Council will hold their Ambassadors Club 28th annual golf outing\, Business on the Green at two golf courses. The event will have a shotgun start at the Stevens Point Country Club at 10 AM on Monday\, June 5th (SentryWorld will have a shotgun start of 9:30 AM).  \n\n \n\n19th Hole Networking at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center will take place at 3:00 PM with an "All American" themed plentiful buffet style service featuring BBQ Pork\, Sloppy Joes\, Buns\, Fruit Tray\, Vegetable Display\, Chips & Dip\, Potato Salad and delicious cookies for dessert\, and beverages (cash bar)\, raffle prizes\, and awards to entertain those attending.  \n\nGolfers in this years' outing have the opportunity to choose from two highly rated Wisconsin courses.  The Stevens Point Country Club\, a beautifully redesigned private course built in 1925\, is an 18-hole Bent grass course and home of the 2000 Wisconsin State Open. SentryWorld is a corporately owned public golf course and sports complex.  This Robert Trent Jones Jr. designed course features the stunning signature flower hole harboring 50\,000 flowers.\n\nBusiness on the Green provides an opportunity to network while golfing with customers\, employees and other Portage County businesses. This is also the only fund raising event sponsored by the Ambassador's Club\, the outreach arm of the Business Council. Proceeds from the event fund new programming for businesses across the county.\n\nThis event is open to Business Council members\, their colleagues and the public.
