Her experience includes regulatory compliance (HR\, Safety\, and Environmental) benefits\, wage and salary administration\, employee relations\, training\, and payroll. She is knowledgeable in both union and non-union environments.\n\n\n\nKaren also provides training services to UW-Madison Small Busines Development Center (SBDC) in HR areas and instructs a class for the UW-Madison Division of Continuing Studies. Further\, she developed and teaches courses targeted at providing small businesses (less than 100 employees) with general HR guidance and employment law review to help them maintain compliance and improve their processes.\n\n\n\nOutside of work\, Karen enjoys farming\, reading\, and traveling.
