DESCRIPTION:One of the more well-loved aspects of Leadership Portage County each year is the history tour with Mr. Anton Anday. Anton is a local historian and wealth of knowledge on the Portage County area. Join us for this guided history tour by bus.\n\n\n\nHighlights will include\; architecture of downtown Stevens Point\, the Polish history of Portage County through a visit to Polonia\, Rising Star Mill in Nelsonville\, and Heritage Park in Plover\, among others.\n\n\n\nSaturday\, November 9 - 10:00 AM-2:30 PM\n\nDeparts from and Returns to Village Park at Plover (O'so Brewing Company/Mikey's Bar & Grill)\n\n3028 Village Park\, Plover\, WI 54467\n\n27 seats available\n\n\n\nTour cost is $10. (Tour is free for participants of the Leadership Portage County Class of 2019). Tour is on a coach bus with on-board restroom and heat. Light refreshments (water and snacks) will be provided.
