DESCRIPTION:The six Stevens Point Area Public Schools School Board candidates will participate in a candidates forum on Friday\, March 8\, 2019 beginning at 7:30-9:00 AM at the Portage County Business Council (PCBC).\n\nEach candidate will be allowed opening and closing remarks.  Prepared questions for the candidates will be presented by the moderator to ensure specific topics are covered. PCBC Government Relations committee members will develop a list of questions in advanceIf time permits\, audience members will be able to submit questions for consideration.\n\n\n\nThe six candidates are: Jeffery Ebel (I)\, Gee Pope\, Barb Portzen (I)\, Kurt Pulvermacher\, Jodi L. Rentfrow\, and Ann Vang.\n\n\n\nThe Portage County Business Council will not be endorsing any candidate.  We are offering this forum as an opportunity for our members and the public to learn more about this school board election\, the position and responsibilities\, and experience / viewpoints of the candidates.\n\nAdmission to the forum is free but registration is requested as seating is limited.\n\n\n\nCandidate attendance\, late arrival and early departure of the candidates may happen based on schedules.
