DESCRIPTION:WINES OF THE WORLD\n\n\n\nThe Portage County Business Council is excited to host our Wines of the World event on Friday\, October 29\, 2021 with VIP Sponsor TDS!\n\n \n\nJoin us that evening from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center\, 1001 Amber Avenue\, Stevens Point\, WI\, for an international journey as we sample a selection of over 100 wines\, including NA wines from around the world featured by The Bottle Stop. A taste-tempting array of fine cuisine prepared by the Holiday Inn Hotel & Convention Center and Rockman's Catering \, delicious desserts prepared by Muse at Sentry\, fine Wisconsin artisan cheeses by Biery Cheese Company & Ski's Meat Market\, along with some imports\, a silent auction\,  a wine pull\, a beer bar by the Stevens Point Brewery and District 1 Brewing Company\, handcrafted spirits by Great Northern Distilling and Schierl Brothers Northern Oasis Spirits\, a fun paparazzi photo wall\, and live music by The Malakai Flynn Alumni Quartet will complement the evening.  Also\, assorted craft beers and bourbon tastings!\n\n\n\nThis event will provide an opportunity for guests to network\, socialize and have fun learning about wine.  Those in attendance will have a chance to win fabulous door prizes including a Unique Dining Experience for 6 (catered dinner for 6 people in the privacy of your home with Private Chef Scott Rockman\, owner of Rockman's Catering) donated by Rockman's Catering.  One lucky winner will also go home with this stunning 14K White Gold  Diamond Pendant (1/3 Carat) with a 14K White Gold Chain valued at $3\,000 donated by Lee Ayers Jewelers and created by Internationally Recognized Jewelry Designer\, and Wisconsin's most awarded jeweler - Thomas Dailing.
