The Portage County Business Council will hold their Ambassadors Club 37th \;annual golf outing\, Business on the Green at two golf courses. The event will have a shotgun start at 9:00AM on Monday\, June 1st. \;

\n\nThe 19th \;Hole Networking dinner \;will take place following golf at approximately \;3:00PM at Springville Sports Barn located at 2811 Plover Springs Drive in Plover\, WI. The event will feature a \;cash bar\, \;a plentiful buffet style \;Summer BBQ featuring pulled pork sandwiches\, BBQ chicken\, house potato salad\, baked beans\, creamed cucumbers\, garden salad\, dessert &\; coffee\, prize giveaways\, raffles and awards to entertain those attending.

\nGolfers in this years&rsquo\; outing have the opportunity to choose from two highly rated Wisconsin courses. \; \;The Stevens Point Country Club\, a beautifully redesigned private course built in 1925\, is an 18-hole Bent grass course and home of the 2000 Wisconsin State Open. The Wisconsin River Golf Club \;is a par-72\, 6\,584 yard course set amid the picturesque Wisconsin River. The 18-hole course offers rustic views surrounded by wildlife. The Wisconsin River Golf Course is sure to offer golfers of all abilities a challenging yet pleasurable golf experience. \;
Business on the Green \;provides an opportunity to network while golfing with customers\, employees and other Portage County businesses. Proceeds from the event fund new programming for businesses across the county.
\n\nThis event is open to Business Council members\, their colleagues and the public. Cost per player is $225.00 at the Stevens Point Country Club. \;
