DESCRIPTION:Auditions for Shakespeare's As You Like It will be held June 15-16 at 6:30 PM at The Shack.\nWe are excited to host the 6th annual Schmeeckle Shakes performance of As You Like It directed by Susan Edgren! The show will be performed at at the Pankowski Family Amphitheatre in Schmeeckle Reserve\, Stevens Point\, WI. \n\nAs You Like It is a pastoral comedy in which Rosalind\, banished from court by her usurping uncle\, flees to the Forest of Arden disguised as a young man named Ganymede\, accompanied by her cousin Celia and the fool Touchstone. There she encounters Orlando\, the man she loves\, who is also a fugitive and who fills the forest trees with love poems in her name unaware that the witty "Ganymede" coaching him through his feelings is Rosalind herself.\nSee more info and the rehearsal calendar at https://cwact.org/auditions-2026-2027/
