SUMMARY:Building Dedication for Chemistry Biology Building at UWSP
DESCRIPTION:Community members are welcome to join UW-Stevens Point staff\, faculty\, students and friends at the dedication of the Chemistry Biology Building. A special presentation is planned for May 2\, 2025 at 2 p.m. \n\n \n\nClass of '70 alum Frank and Kathleen Haeni have given much in return to the university in the years since their graduation as biology majors. The couple worked as educators for decades prior to their retirement. Frank and Kathie have established several scholarship endowments in biology\, history\, forestry\, and wildlife. Their generosity has also bolstered endowments supporting the College of Letters and Science Undergraduate Research Symposium and the Olson Museum of Natural History\n\n \n\n Join us to thank them as the College will dedicate the CBB officially as the "Frank R. and Kathleen Y. Haeni Chemistry Biology Building." \n\n \n\nSpeakers:\n\nDean Joshua Hagen\, College of Letters and Science\n\nProvost La Vonne Cornell-Swanson\, Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs\n\n \n\nThe College of Letters and Science 26th Annual Undergraduate Research Symposium will follow the dedication. Students across all disciplines will present oral and poster presentations in the Haeni Chemistry Biology Building from 2:30- 4:00 p.m. Please come support their research achievements!
