SUMMARY:Employee Ridesharing Presentation
DESCRIPTION:CAP Services and Central Transportation invite local businesses and partners to a presentation on employee ridesharing on Monday\, July 29 from 10am-1130am at Central Transportation\, 2700 Week Street\, Stevens Point\, WI. Ridesharing is a way that businesses and partners can help employees with lower incomes overcome transportation challenges to get to work. The presenter\, Jeff Stoltman\, is a consultant and the coordinator of the Dodge County Getting-to-Work Program which implemented a successful ridesharing pilot at a small cheese manufacturer. In the first year of operation\, this program positively impacted hard business metrics including employee head-count growth of 37% and achievement of two new production records. The program has also helped reduce tardiness and absenteeism while improving employee morale and retention. Learn about this model and how it might address transportation challenges in Portage County. Please RSVP for this event at this link or by contacting Marlene Pohl at 715-342-4831 or mpohl@stevenspoint.com.
