DESCRIPTION:Audiences of all ages are invited to step into the colorful and imaginative world of Dr. Seuss as the Playhouse Theatre Group of Central Wisconsin proudly presents Seussical JR\, a delightful musical that brings beloved characters like Horton the Elephant\, the Cat in the Hat\, and Jojo to life on stage. Seussical JR will take place at SPASH Theater in Stevens Point\, October 9 - 11.\n\nPacked with catchy songs\, larger-than-life characters\, and heartwarming stories\, Seussical JR spotlights 60+ local students in grades 7-12. This show is directed by Hannah Formella-Zdroik\, with choreography by Emily Bunczak and music direction by Amy Formella. Costuming for the show is led by Karen Salienko and props are headed by Kathy Kolton and Andrea Elberg. Our Seussical Children?s Choirs\, made up of talented kids from Kindergarten through 6th grade\, will sing and shine under the direction of Caedyn Dean\, Neah Schweder\, and Aila Schiefelbein\n\nMaking Seussical JR even more spectacular\, our Saturday\, October 11 performances (1pm & 7pm) will feature sensory-friendly and accessible options to ensure an inclusive and welcoming experience for all audience members. These shows will offer:\n\nA sensory tour 1 hour before each show (Noon & 6pm)\n\nSensory bags\n\nMeet and greet with the cast\n\nASL Interpreting\n\nClosed captioning\n\nA quiet area\n\nAccommodations for wheelchair seating and preferred ASL & Closed Captioning seating\n\nJoin us for a fun\, inclusive journey into the world of Dr. Seuss\, where everyone is welcome and valued! These sensory-friendly and accessible shows are presented in partnership with Mid-State Independent Living Choices\, Opportunity Development Centers\, the Community Foundation of Central Wisconsin and Melody Audiology.
