DESCRIPTION:Mid-State Technical College's Workforce & Economic Development division has been awarded a 2019 2020 Workforce Advancement Training grant to help cover the cost of workforce training classes for central Wisconsin employers. We are proud to offer the following courses at a discounted rate to assist employers with their talent development this fall. \n\n\n\nOne of the biggest talent development hurdles is promoting talented workers to supervisory positions but not giving them the tools to be successful. In this course\, learners will develop the ability to provide timely and constructive feedback\, motivate others\, apply policies and procedures\, administer discipline\, and evaluate and improve the performance of others. This course is designed to assist new\, experienced\, and aspiring front-line supervisors and managers with the skills necessary to lead their teams. (3 credits)
