DESCRIPTION:The Olson Museum of Natural History at UW-Stevens Point will host the 2025 Collection Crawl on April 5\, 2025.  Community members are invited to explore the university's teaching and research collections across three campus academic buildings.\n\n \n\nThis year's Collection Crawl will feature museum collections in paleontology and geology. Get tours of our NEW rock and fossil exhibit.  The event on Saturday\, April 5\, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. will begin and end at the Science Building\, 2001 Fourth Ave.\, on the campus of UW-Stevens Point.\n\n \n\nThe event is a wonderful opportunity for children and families to enjoy hands-on activities and artifacts to explore. In addition\, participants can use microscopes in the museum Discovery Room\, play trivia and check out the friendly live animals cared for by the university Herpetology Club. Go behind the scenes at the museum where future spaces are under construction.  \n\n \n\nIn addition to the exhibits\, families may enjoy a showing inside the Blocher Planetarium\, located on the second floor of the UW-Stevens Point Science Building. Show times are below:\n\n \n\n	April 5   10 a.m. "Incoming! Asteroids\, Comets and the Hard-Hitting Stories of our Cosmic Origins"  \n	April 5   11 a.m. "Laser Musical Show"
