Description
A steel player from Tomahawk, Wis., Mark Wayne took up guitar at 11 and steel guitar at 12, and he was a student during the 1980s and 1990s of Ben Reehl and Eddie Rivers. He worked with Vic Eliason of WVCY (98.9 FM) Radio from Milwaukee in 1991 with friend Roy Allen (childhood friend of Earl Scruggs), and he was part of the Country-Gospel group Harbor Lighthouse from 1999-2006.
Mark has performed in many towns throughout northern Wisconsin (such as Wausau, Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Minocqua) and with many of the Northwoods greats like Skip Wagner and Jim Sheppele. Mark now travels the midwest as a solo artist performing at various venues.
