Description
The Wisconsin SBDC at UW-Green Bay, a program of UW-Extension's Division of Entrepreneurship and Economic Development, is co-sponsoring an educational event presented by the International Franchise Association.
"Franchising: A Model for Business Ownership That Works" will cover franchise topics including fundamentals, legal aspects, funding, and incentives for minorities and women franchise owners. Individuals who attend will learn how a franchise works including how owners of established businesses can expand their company through franchising.
The event is Wednesday, July 10, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hyatt on Main Green Bay, 333 Main Street, Green Bay, Wisconsin. Cost to attend is $25 and includes continental breakfast, lunch and seminar materials. The program is open to the public, but registration is required in advance.
