Purple Basil is a Italian inspired food truck and caterer based in Wisconsin Rapids. Our concept involves a unique Italian menu while offering customizable options. We work with imported goods and fill the gap with fresh, local ingredients. We focus on high quality foods, prepared fresh with high regard for customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare & cook menu items
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work area
- Able to meet at designated meeting area
- Availability for evenings & weekends
- Walk or stand for long period of time
- Reach, bend, push, pull or lift up to 30lbs.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Food Service Experience preferred
- Some customer service skills
- Food Handler Certification preferred
Desired Skills and Experience
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Perform addition/subtraction calculations
- Able to follow recipes, sanitation & food safety guidelines
- Ability to work calmly & effectively under pressure
- Must have exceptional hygiene & grooming habits
