What to Expect


This is not a remote role, the position is onsite in either Barrington, IL or Stevens Point, WI.


We’re seeking a keen analytical thinking Web QA Analyst to join our onsite Team.  In this role, the Web QA Analyst will develop and maintain test scripts/cases and will be focused on functional and integration testing using both manual and automated testing techniques throughout the Software Development Lifecycle. The Web QA Analyst completes applicable test cases for all website development tasks, updates the web development team with testing statuses, and provides feedback for any failed test cases so further development can be completed to produce passing tests.  In this role, you must be motivated to work with business analysts and developers to ensure all requirement related deliverables are clearly communicated and understood and necessary testing is completed to ensure such requirements were met. 


  • Develop and maintain a library of test cases
  • Provide testing statuses for open web development tickets to ensure seamless transition between environments
  • Work with the Web Development Manager to set standards for testing documents and procedures to ensure quality and error-free applications of UAT
  • Provide post-release/Go-Live testing for large-scale web efforts such as new website launches
  • Contribute to creating acceptance criteria for user stories that will help determine “definition of done”


What You Will Contribute:


  • B.S. Computer Science/Information Systems/Business Systems
  • 2+ years’ experience of QA Analyst and developing scripted tests
  • Experience with manual front-end website testing along with various testing frameworks (Backstop JS & Selenium preferred) and development testing tools, as well as Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities
  • Ability to effectively communicate with clients, colleagues, and management to explain issues clearly and concisely
  • Demonstrates the character traits of thoroughness, cautiousness, dependability, truthfulness, resourcefulness, and orderliness
