Facilities Planner - UW-Stevens Point

This position reports to the Director of Planning and Construction and works within the PED team. This position will assume a significant role in researching and developing materials in support of various complex campus higher education facilities, site planning, capital project budgets and implementation of facilities projects. The position shall apply technical guidance and process management related to space planning, building revisions, building and safety codes, and policy implementation, as well as direct preparation of reports, conceptual drawings, project requests, cost estimates and project budgets to support campus facility and capital needs.  This position will facilitate master planning and space planning discussions with campus constituents.  This position will work collaboratively with the PED team on all associated capital activities including project identification and prioritization, design and specification development and construction including project coordination activities.
