Aventus Data Centers Acquires Marshfield Clinic Health System, Inc. Data Center

EDEN PRAIRIE, Minnesota — April 25, 2023
Today, Aventus Data Centers, a division of Vincent Companies, and Marshfield Clinic Health System signed an agreement for Aventus to purchase Marshfield Clinic’s data center. Both parties expect the purchase to be finalized in the near future. Marshfield Clinic Health System has become one of the largest private, multispecialty group practices in the United States. The organization owns and operates an Uptime Institute Tier III certified data center to support its health care operations. The data center is purpose-built with redundant support systems for resiliency and efficiency to provide dependable and
cost-effective services. Marshfield Clinic Health System provides colocation services to keep technology assets safe and secure 24/7/365. Aventus CEO Larry Ingwersen says, “We are excited to add this data center to our business. Any organization located in central Wisconsin can benefit from moving its IT systems to this data center. It complements our center in the Granville Station area northwest of Milwaukee.” Ingwersen added, “Marshfield Clinic designed and built one of the best data centers we have seen. It is the only data center in Wisconsin with a Tier III certification from the Upside Institute. Tier III centers have extremely high uptimes because the power, cooling, and other systems are redundant enough to allow for failure and maintenance concurrent with ongoing customer operations.”
