(Portage County)PREVAIL BANK DONATES $5,000 TO THE FRIENDS OF EMERSON PARK
Prevail Bank donated $5,000 to the Friends of Emerson Park in support of their project to convert a minimally maintained vacant lot in Stevens Point into a desired destination — a city park that includes a new playground, multi-purpose athletic courts (basketball and pickleball), and an asphalt artistic area for chalk art.
Prevail Bank professionals (left to right) Dejonna Bates, Relationship Banker; and Commercial Lending Officers, Dale Sankey and Eric Kundinger presented a big check to Friends of Emerson Park Co-Chair, Ginger Keymer; Dan Kremer, City of Stevens Point Park, Recreation and Forestry Director; and Danielle Weaver, Friends of Emerson Park Co-Chair earlier this week.
Monetary gifts are still needed to complete the three-phase plan. Citizens and businesses interested in contributing to the project are encouraged to click https://emersonparksp.org/ for more information.
Prevail Bank’s funds were part of its Charitable Contributions program. This program is available for local non-profits that help local people in need, especially those with low-to-moderate incomes; stimulate communities financially; and/or enhances the standard of living of those less fortunate.
