Central Wisconsin Area Community Theater (cwACT) presents their 6th Annual Schmeeckle Shakes production of William Shakespeare’s beloved comedy, "As You Like It," performed in the natural beauty of Schmeeckle Reserve in Stevens Point, Wisconsin!
"As You Like It" follows the witty and resourceful Rosalind as she is banished from court and flees to the enchanted Forest of Arden, where love, disguise, and self-discovery await. Discover mistaken identities, poetic declarations of love, and Shakespeare’s sharpest comic dialogue. Join us for a jazzy journey to the woods of Schmeeckle Reserve.
Show times: August 13-15 at 6:00 PM and August 16 at 2:00 PM.
Special Feature: ONLY FRIDAY, AUGUST 14, celebrate cwACT’s 53rd Season with the Opening Banquet, featuring "A Joyful Little Band." UWSP's On Point Catering brings a New Orleans' BBQ to Stevens Point. Enjoy a wonderful evening of music and theater! Dinner starts at 5:00 PM. Dinner ticket orders are due by Wednesday, August 5.
