While it is hard to believe that 2012-13 school year is already upon us, Partners in Education (PIE) has been working hard to coordinate this year’s education activities and events!
PIE is a program of the Portage County Business Council Foundation. Programming is a collaborative effort between the Foundation, K-12 educators and local businesses to provide employability skills and develop career awareness opportunities for students in Portage and Waushara Counties. PIE’s effective programming provides an opportunity to over 11,500 students and over 1,200 educators in 34 schools and eight districts to engage with our business community through direct programming, guest speakers, business tours, job shadows and career preparedness events.
